About Christopher Milne

Christopher Milne has law and commerce degrees from Otago University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. He is also an elected City Councillor for Hutt City Council.

He has worked with Ernst & Young in , Coopers & Lybrand in London, Midland Montagu Investment Banking (now HSBC) in London and New York, and the Royal Bank of in London & Toronto. He has also lectured in Corporate Finance.

He has started, developed and sold businesses of his own, including Cyberia, New Zealand's first cybercafe.

He lives with his wife Jan and three children in Normandale, a rural area of Lower Hutt. Active interests include tennis, squash, alpine climbing, tramping, kayaking, and golf. He also enjoys the more relaxing pastimes of films, reading and restoring his property to native forest.
