joint venture marketing, a partnership (that commenced in 2003) between Vaughan Stanley and John Batty, provide strategic marketing services focusing on the business development aspects of businesses wishing to improve their sales and marketing results.

Through a combined commercial experience of over 50 years in marketing, sales, operations and business development in many industries and countries, from small business to corporate organisations, joint venture marketing has a proven track record of adding significant value and achieving success.

Both directors have had extensive “hands on” proven experience having owned, developed and exited their own successful businesses.

  • Successfully completed fifth and sixth form certificates in English, Mathematics, Geography, French and Economics.
  • Tertiary qualified London City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 Professional Cookery (distinction).
  • Certificates in Small Business Management (A+) and Accounting (A+).
  • Communicates in English and French.
  • Extensively travelled to over 35 countries on 5 continents.
  • Employed in operational and executive management positions in Canada, England, Switzerland and New Zealand from small business to corporate environments; including a contract with the Cunard Line on the number one cruise ship in the world - the Royal Viking Sun.
  • Involved in six successful start up businesses, employed in product development, business strategy, systems implementation, staff recruitment, training and development, business development, marketing and sales, customer services.
  • Marketing and sales manager for a manufacturing firm achieving in excess of 100% sales growth year over year for four years, including the development, acquisition and retention of over 300 commercial accounts.
  • Initiated, created, developed (run under management) and sold his own highly successful retail food business.
